About

I have always enjoyed experimenting with gadgets and making weird sounds. I had several guitar pedals. I liked what they did but never quite figured out how to really make them mine.

In 2018, a post came through my feeds for instructions on how to build a Ring Modulator pedal. I grabbed the chance to buy one of the author's spare PCBs and it sat in my drawer for years.

In 2020 (you knew this was coming), I was desperate for connection and posted several solo guitar covers on YouTube. One day "Cherub Rock" came up in my playlist, and I hadn't heard that song in years. I dug out my old pedals, fixed up loose connections, and plugged into the Big Muff Ο€. I got the tone just right--except I couldn't figure out what to do with the guitar solo. I was already as distorted as I thought I could be. So I started my quest for the crazy sounds. One thing led to another, I binged all the JHS Show videos, and started building kits. I modded my Crybaby to have true bypass and an LED. I built a Range Master and Klon. I built the Ring Modulator. I built an Atari Punk Console.

By 2023 I was building effects into my guitars. And in 2025, after losing my job... Well, the job market absolutely blows right now and designing and building effects seems to be a culmination of so many of my past interests.

I came up with The Crushinator, and I have a bunch more circuits in the hopper.

I can't wait for you to try my pedals.

Make some noise.
